The meeting of the Working Group on Medical Applications of Heads of the European Radiological Protection Competent Authorities (HERCA) was held on September 11, 2025, in Helsinki. The event was attended by DSc Dariusz Kluszczyński, Director of the National Center for Radiation Protection in Health Care. Experts from the association (HERCA) are working on relaunching a European patient information campaign. The campaign will becarried out in 21 countries across Europe. The initiative aims to enhence patient care by ensuring that each patient undergoes the most appropriate and clinically imaging procedure, thereby optimising diagnostic and treatment outcomes.
